LoVE n tHE cITy

SiLEnCe..

Oh that sleep would keep me, bells beckon from afar

A drink of life and dark aromas tender voices offer

Tables set do fill me and the presence of your words

Friends, lovers, strangers seeking my discourse

Walls alive with sounds of music birds hum along

Clock’s hand dancing circles witness from above

Noises slowly blossom  with clutter in my head

Words uttered cease, sounds no longer heard

Oh that God would keep me in Silence

  1. I love the image you chose for this post.

“Noises slowly blossom with clutter in my head
Words uttered cease, sounds no longer heard

Oh that God would keep me in Silence”

I love these lines, hauntingly deep!

  2. This is absolutely beautiful. I’m humbled by your lament. I see a similarity with my own vernacular, of which I have been trying to change. And now I don’t know why because this is very moving. I always saw “silence” as the sound of loneliness.

    • My peace has been so disturbed lately I can’t even write, my heart is

full of sorrow but this is the path I must go through, I also pray for silence

      and joy.
